The 2026–2027 school year marks a truly extraordinary milestone for the Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District, our 150th anniversary. Since officially becoming a school district in 1876, Dry Creek has grown, evolved, and flourished alongside the communities we serve.

As we embark on this historic year, we invite our entire school community, students, families, staff, alumni, and neighbors to join us in celebrating this remarkable chapter in Dry Creek’s story. Starting in the new year, we will be sharing:

• Special celebrations and events planned throughout the anniversary year

To celebrate, we’re launching a logo design contest for middle school students in grades 6–8. We invite our creative students to design a logo that reflects Dry Creek’s rich history and bright future.
