Boundary Changes for Grid Code Areas 340 and 342

On December 16, 2019, Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District’s Board of Trustees approved new school boundaries for grid code areas 340 and 342 (Misty Wood Area / LibertyVillage). This boundary shift will be in effect for the start of the 2020-2021 school year. The boundary redraw will balance our distribution of students among District schools, preserve capacity at schools that will be experiencing increased enrollment due to new construction in their grid area, as well as maximize financial efficiencies.

This shift only applies to new enrollees in the District starting in the 2020-2021 school year. Current students attending Heritage Oak Elementary School, nor their siblings who are yet to be of school age, will be affected. The new school zoned for this attendance area is Quail Glen Elementary School, located at 1250 Canevari Dr., Roseville, CA 95747. As a courtesy to our families, bus services will continue to run from this attendance area to Heritage Oak Elementary School for the duration of the 2020-2021 school year, and will cease thereafter.

Also as a courtesy, no intra-district transfer paperwork will be required for existing students, nor their siblings, who wish to remain at Heritage Oak Elementary School.
