Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District Celebrates 150 Years!

The 2026-2027 school year marks an extraordinary milestone for the Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District. Since 1876, Dry Creek has grown alongside the communities we serve, and this year, as we celebrate our 150th anniversary, we are proud to highlight our legacy while looking ahead to the future.

Families and community members will see a special anniversary rebrand across the district, featuring a new student-designed logo displayed around our school sites and district offices. You will notice all the additions on banners, signage, in newsletters, on our social media accounts and websites, and even in our email signature blocks.

Throughout the year, schools will have a variety of site-based activities for students and staff, along with a kick-off logo sticker giveaway.

We’re also planning a community-wide celebration this spring (date to be announced). Be sure to follow along on social media, where we’ll share weekly “Flashback Friday” posts, highlighting moments throughout Dry Creek’s history.
